For our new upcoming feature film titled, The Big Whiteout, we have an ongoing commitment to find the top discovered and undiscovered talent where we are honoured to embrace all diversities. Since the launch of Couture Entertainment Inc., in 2021, we have committed to provide opportunities and a platform for unrepresented and underrepresented film artists including people of colour, women, LGBTQ+, and all who are passionate about storytelling despite adversity. 

 

Much like the Big Whiteout, this touching and suspenseful true story film shows how adversity nearly destroys a four-year-old Metis child when a ministry takes Eugenea from her Indigenous family and forces her to live in white homes. After years of separation Eugenea desperately wants to reclaim her rights to her roots, especially her adopted brother Josh, but she must revisit her childhood demons of her past that are buried in years of government files. It is the only hope she has to unlock the records and restore her family but when Eugenea receives her crucial documents, the government has destroyed her only copy with white out. What persistence will a mother of four need to break the secrecy and the endless silence to reunite once again?
